Putting windows on these is more marketing than practicality, Linux or Cloudready would be ideal for these type of devices. IMHO windows 10 on these low-resource machines is almost a guarantee you will have problems over time just due to the drive space alone. There is also another site here that also mentions the same Media Creation Tool to create your usb/flash bootable media, and it also mentions using the Rufus tool to force UEFI mode (which I have had much better luck with) so if the MS tool does not work give that a try to get windows 10 back on there. To get windows 10 on a bootable media, there is an acer support link about getting windows 10 on usb here, using the MS creation tool. A good next step would be to reinstall windows 10 and see if that works. Sounds like there was a problem with the factory reset (pretty common problem on these models), possible the media got corrupted somehow.
